Silver Doctor Wet Fly
The Silver Doctor Fly pattern is a wet fly that was first created by James Wright who lived in Sprouston, Roxburghshire, Scotland around 1850. The fly is one of similar silver bodied salmon flies which were hugely popular with anglers back then and remains so today. It was exported to the Americas where it found great popularity especially in the northern USA.
It is perfect for catching Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout.
Usually comes in hook sizes 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20.
