The Mahogany Dun fly pattern provides some of the finest dry fly fishing of the late summer around late August through early October when the hatches occur depending on the part of the country. Most hatches occur in slow water near the shores. Because of this, you can often spot the trout rise to gulp up the duns almost under your feet making fishing this fly very exciting.

Good for Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Grayling, Rainbow Trout etc.
