Beadhead JuJu Bee / BH JuJu Bee

The Beadhead JuJu Bee or Bead-head Juju bee fly is a beaded sweet little wet midge that can entice even the most reluctant trout. With tiny wing buds, flashy back and contrasting colors along the abdomen, it makes this a top midge fly pattern.

The fly is credited to Charlie Craven who created it over 20 years ago to fool weary and selective trout in the Chessman Canyon. It has become a proven pupa or midge larva imitation throughout the USA.

Anglers commonly use the BH JuJu Bee fly pattern, especially when nymph fishing for trout. Anglers recognize its effectiveness in imitating various aquatic insects and larvae.

Tyers often create this fly with a beadhead to aid sinking, using a combination of materials like dubbing, thread, and occasionally a hot spot (a brightly colored section)

Anglers appreciate its versatility and success in enticing trout in various water conditions.
