Green Drake Fly

The Green-Drake Fly pattern imitates green-drake mayflies which are the largest mayflies that provide hatches in fast rivers around May, June or in late summer in the Oregon’s Metolius River.

The extended body gives a realistic imitation of a big mayfly and the bulky wing provides an excellent floatation. The fly works in many places from flat water to moderately heavy.
